The administrative staff at Newburgh Elementary School is fully dedicated to maintaining an environment that is conducive to academic success for every student.
The principal at Newburgh Elementary School is Dr. Holly Arnold. She is a Tecumseh High School graduate and lives in Elberfeld with her husband and four sons. Prior to coming to NES she spent twenty years at Castle High School where she taught business, was a school counselor and scholarship coordinator, served three years as assistant principal and five years as principal at Elberfeld Elementary.
Dr. Arnold received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana in Business Education. She earned her master’s degree in school counseling from Western Kentucky University. She received her principal’s license from USI and her superintendent’s license from Indiana State University. She earned her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Oakland City University.
Dr. Arnold enjoys working with students of all ages and backgrounds. She is committed to offering the students of Warrick County a quality education in a safe and nurturing environment. She strives to focus on the potential in each individual student and encourages a positive mindset and a desire to learn.
With the help of the amazing faculty at Newburgh Elementary, community support, and parent involvement, Dr. Arnold’s focus is on helping students achieve at their highest potential.

Mr. Warner began his teaching career in the fall of 2002 after graduating from the University of Evansville. In his career, he has served as a special education teacher at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. He has also served as an administrator in middle school as well as in elementary. He is married to Heather, who also teaches in WCSC. He has three children; Faith, Elijah, and Eden. He has a bachelor's degree in special education and a master's degree in education administration.
