Ms. Hughes has been teaching since 1992.  She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Deaf Education from Ball State University , an MA in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado, and a Master's degree in Severe Disabilities from Ball State University.

Ms. Hughes loves to see her students gain skills and increase their independence.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, the outdoors, and spending time with her family, especially with her granddaughter, Mackenzie.
