ILEARN (Previously ISTEP+)
Students in grades 3-5 will participate in ILEARN, and third-grade students will also participate in IREAD-3 testing in the spring. The ILEARN assessment system includes:

• A through year assessment for grades 3-8 mathematics and English Language Arts (ELA) with 3 Checkpoints and one end-of-year summative assessment.
• An end-of-year summative assessment for grades 4 and 6 science, grade 5 social studies, high school Biology, and high school U.S. Government.

Please be aware that the ILEARN testing window is:

                          Checkpoint 1 September 15th-November 14th

                          Checkpoint 2  November 17th- February 6th

                          Checkpoint 3  February 9th- April 10th

                          Summative:   April 13th-May 8th

Students need to be present each day, but attendance is especially important during the testing sessions. Please make all appointments on dates that are not during testing if possible. Thank you!
